Memory Fades, Tape Doesn’t: Giving Credit Where It Belongs

Why I link back to the original broadcasts... and why I never exaggerate my own spot in the scene.

When you talk about streams from ten or fifteen years ago, it's really easy for stories to get taller over time. I built this site with a simple rule... link back to the real tape and give people their proper credit.

Keeping the Story Straight

Whenever I write about an event, a marathon block, or a breakthrough in a game's route, I include direct links to the organizations, archives, and broadcasts where it happened.

I didn't build GDQ, I didn't invent livestreaming, and I'm never going to pretend one person is responsible for a scene that thousands of people built together. Giving proper credit is the whole point of keeping an archive.
